While AutoSoft Dynamics was formed in June 2000, the company’s founder, Late Mr. Lutfullah Khan created a predecessor company, Automation Software Services, where he began work on the development of AutoBANKER I in 1992. In 1994, Automation Software Services was absorbed into Prime Commercial Bank, a Lahore-based institution, and Mr. Khan came on as Executive Vice President at the bank as well as Head of the Systems division. Having been launched in 1992, the bank was looking for a stable platform on which to carry out its retail operations. In 2000, Mr. Khan left Prime Commercial Bank, and the bank chose to outsource all its IT support to AutoSoft Dynamics. The company thrived under the leadership of Mr. Khan and his daughter Ms. Sadia Khan for over 2 decades, with year on year growth.

In April 2022, Contour Software (PVT) LTD, the Pakistan division of the Perseus Operating Group of Constellation Software Inc. (publicly listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange as TSX: CSU), acquired control of all outstanding shares of AutoSoft Dynamics (Pvt.) Limited, and shall be supporting and nurturing the business going forward. CSI is publicly traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX: CSU), and together with its subsidiaries, is an international provider of market-leading software and services to a number of industries, with the mission to acquire, manage and build market-leading software businesses that develop specialized, mission-critical software solutions to address the specific needs of particular industries. Mr. Bilal Mahmood, MD Contour Software, shall also serve as CEO of AutoSoft. Mr. Mahmood joined Constellation in Toronto at the start of 2007 and proceeded to found Constellation’s Pakistan subsidiary – Contour – in 2010 at Karachi, before expanding to Lahore and Islamabad, crossing 1,800 staff in Pakistan in less than 12 years.

Keeping in view the company’s vision to be at the forefront of the banking and ICT software industry, the company also announced new strategic management changes including the appointment of a new Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Shahzad Rafique. Mr. Rafique brings 20+ years of experience in operations, marketing, product & software development. He has been a part of the AutoSoft group and has served in different parts since 2005.

With the advancement of technologies both the Telco and Financial, sectors are converging to provide necessary reach and ease to the customer (banked and unbanked) for access to financial services. Mr. Rafique has a vision to further expand AutoSoft’s global footprint keeping this in mind and shall enhance the Company’s product lines while adding new business streams to strongly position the company for the next decade.
